Flash Flood Watch Issued for Northern Indiana
The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana issued a flash flood watch for northern Indiana until Tuesday at 2 a.m.
Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are expected to continue to move across the area late this afternoon and tonight as a slow moving cold front moves into the area. The heavy rainfall associated with these storms combined with recent heavy rainfall and already high streams and river levels may result in flash flooding.
The following counties in northern Indiana are at risk: Adams, Allen, Blackford, Elkhart, Fulton, Huntington, Kosciusko, La Porte, Lagrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley.
