A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Kosciusko and surrounding counties. The watch is in effect until 9 p.m. this evening.

A flood watch has also been issued for the area along the Tippecanoe River. Fulton, Kosciusko and Marshall counties are included in this watch.

Heavy rains that have occurred across the area the past two days, with additional rain pending, will cause the Tippecanoe River to rise to flood stage near Ora in the next few days.
