A rugby player broke his arm wrestling another player for charity on live TV in Australia Thursday night.
Ben Ross’ right arm snapped several seconds into the arm wrestling match with Wendell Sailor on the Footy Show. Both are former National Rugby League players.
The incident shocked the show’s hosts, live studio audience and viewers. The show cut to commercial as Ross received medical attention.
Ross was taken to a Sydney hospital by ambulance, where X-rays confirmed the humerus in his right arm was broken.
