KCH Offers Seminar About Knee/Hip Replacement
Kosciusko Community Hospital will offer an educational seminar entitled “When is it time for hip or knee replacement?” at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 18 in the KCH Health and Wellness Center, 1500 Provident Dr., Warsaw. Leamon Williams, M.D., will conduct the lecture with Krista Harding, joint care coordinator.
“If you are over 55 and have knee or hip pain, stiffness or swelling, chances are you have arthritis in the knee or hip,” according to Dr. Williams. “The good news is many treatments are now available to control these symptoms, allowing you to move easily and without pain once again.”
The seminar will explore the latest non-surgical and surgical treatments for hip and knee pain. It will also help individuals with arthritis determine when it’s time to consider joint replacement. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
