Jaxton Broderick Taylor Schmidt
Many have offered prayers and held thoughts in their hearts for the lives of twin brothers; Jaxton Broderick Taylor and Greyson Gunnar Ty Schmidt. Born premature on the Thursday, June 4, 2015, Jaxton’s struggle in life came to a rest in the palm of the hand of our true Creator – Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is with Faith that we continue to pray for Greyson and his young family.
This announcement and thoughts of appreciation come from his parents; Broderick T. and Kyleigh S. (Sage) Schmidt, for all of the support from church, family, friends and strangers, especially for the efforts of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.
Along with his parents and brother, Jaxton is survived by paternal grandparents: Steve E. Schmidt, Culver; Tory R. Schmidt, South Bend; paternal great-grandparents: Norva and Brian Shidler, Culver; and Robert “Bobby” and Faith Tennyson, Mishawaka; maternal grandparents: John “Tim” and Tonya Sage, Culver; maternal great-grandparents: Bill and Mardell Retschlag, Winamac; Fred Lemert, Plymouth; and John Sage, Donaldson. A host of aunts; uncles; and cousins also survive.
Preceding in death were paternal great-grandparents: Marilyn Joan and Richard Elmer Schmidt; and maternal great-grandmothers: Margaret June Sage; and Peggy Ann Lemert.
Services will be postponed for a later date.
The family wishes to request memorial gifts be given to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, care of St. Joseph Health Systems, South Bend.
