Ruth I. Breske, 73, of Warsaw passed away 1:45 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015, in her residence. She was born on May 7, 1942, to Clarence and Treva (Searfoss) Burns in Auburn.

She was a graduate of Central High School in Fort Wayne. She previously worked for Biomet, Zimmer Inc. and Byrite Cleaners. She was a member of the Auxiliary American Legion Post 253, North Webster.

Ruth is survived by her daughter: Rebecca Breske, Fort Wayne; and Jacquelyn Breske, Warsaw; grandson: Kyle Nie, Fort Wayne; grandaughter: Sarah Nie, Fort Wayne; sisters: Ana Lewis, Plantersville, Texas; Patricia Kuhn, Leesburg; Rose Harris, Butler; and Theresa Nichols, Kendallville; and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son: James Geiger; and her husband.
