Medalist Music Paces Triton Win

Triton SportsROCHESTER – The Triton boys golf team was one shot better than Tippecanoe Valley Thursday night.

Greg Music earned individual medalist honors as the Trojans topped the Vikings and Bremen in a non-conference triangular at Mill Creek.

Music shot a 41 as Triton shot 182 as a team. Valley finished at 183 and Bremen came in at 196.

Jordan Anderson had a 44 for the winning Trojans. Braden Kreft shot a 48 and Isaac Wall a 49 for Triton, while Bryce Swihart had a 51.

Bryce Zimpelman led the Vikings with a 42. Jeremy Julian shot a 44, while Cole Cumberland had a 48 and Trevor Neeley a 48 for Valley. Corey Carson finished with a 49 for the Vikings.

Josh Ukunski led Bremen with a 46.

Valley will play Saturday in the LaVille Lancer Invitational. Triton, along with Valley, will play in the Warsaw Sectional June 5 at Rozella Ford.
