The Chief ice cream shop in Goshen has been featured on a national list of the 33 best ice cream shops in America by Thrillist.

Chosen for the simple decor and home town charm, Thrillist tasters were especially enchanted with The Chief’s Blue Moon flavor, which was described as ‘kind of tasting like blue raspberry and vanilla, but neon enough that you’d think it was created during an EDM concert.’

The list included ice cream shops from New York to California and old-school legends to newer spots. They were chosen for the excellent flavor options, nostalgia, innovation and variety.

The Chief is located at 502 W. Lincoln Ave, Goshen. It’s open 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
