Lake City Bank Announces Promotions

Lake City Bank is pleased to announce the following promotions.

J. Mark Ulrich has joined its retail lending team, working out of the bank’s Shipshewana office.

Ulrich, who is assistant vice president, retail banking loan officer, works with small businesses and individuals to provide financing solutions designed to meet their unique needs. A native of northern Indiana, Ulrich has worked in the region for the majority of his career, which has included commercial lending and real estate development. He has an associate’s degree in marketing from Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne.

“We are very pleased to have Mark join our retail lending team,” said Kevin L. Deardorff, executive vice president, retail banking manager. “He is a great fit for our Lake City Bank culture, and he has a deep understanding of the area, which will resonate with our customers.”

Lake City Bank is pleased to announce that it has promoted Robby L. Dennis to office manager of its Elkhart northwest office.

Dennis supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. He also manages the daily operations of the office and handles small business loans. 

He has been with the bank since 2010; he has worked in the financial services industry for 20 years. He has an associate’s degree in business administration from ITT Business Institute. 

“We are pleased to promote Robby to office manager,” said Kevin L. Deardorff, executive vice president, retail banking manager. “His dedication to customer service and his familiarity with the area will allow him to effectively lead the Elkhart northwest team in connecting customers with the products and services they need.”

Jared Burns

Jared S. Burns has been promoted to vice president, technology services manager. In this position, he is responsible for the daily operations of the department, which supports the bank’s network and technology users. He is also responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives for the company. He has been with the bank since 2010. Burns has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Grace College and a master’s degree in telecommunication and network management from Syracuse University.

George Goodlink
George Goodlink

George H. Goodlink has been promoted to vice president, information security officer. In this position he is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the bank’s information security programs. He is also responsible for information security compliance testing and assessment. He has been with the bank since 2011. Goodlink has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from McKendree University. He is a member of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium ((ISC)2®) and has received the CISSP® certification.

Joanie Foreman
Joanie Foreman

Joanie L. Foreman has been named vice president, security program officer. In this new position, she leads efforts to develop and establish standards and guidelines that promote the bank’s information security systems. She has been with the bank since 1985. Foreman attended Indiana University and is a graduate of the BAI Graduate School of Operations and Payments. She is involved with the Who’s Who Society, the Autism Society of America, Mobile Meals, Habitat For Humanity and the Indiana Bankers Association’s Security Planning Committee
