Charles L. Williams, age 66, of Culver, passed away at 2:25 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor, in Walkerton.

Charles was born on April 7, 1949, in St. Joseph County, to Charles O. and Evelyn R. (Wurster) Williams. Charles took the former Julie M. Machowiak to be his bride on Oct. 24, 2001. Everyone that met them felt their special bond. He enjoyed woodworking and spent many hours using materials, others discarded, and remodeled a beautiful home for his wife. Charles’ greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones, and kindred-spirits, Lee and Carrie Dulworth.

Charles is survived by his loving wife: Julie Williams, Culver; special nieces: Adara Machowiak; and Nadia Machowiak; and kindred-spirits, Lee and Carrie Dulworth. Charles was preceded in passing by his parents: Charles O. and Evelyn R. Williams.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth. Services will be at 7 p.m. immediately following visitation with Chaplain Ann Mitchell officiating.

Memorials may be given to The Marshall County Neighborhood Center, Food Pantry, Plymouth.
