Trojans Topple Plymouth
BOURBON – The Triton softball team collected a win over Plymouth in non-conference action Saturday.
The Trojans topped the Pilgrims 10-3 in action at Keyser Field.
Plymouth scored all three of its runs in the third inning to take a short-lived 3-0 lead.
Triton answered with five runs in the home half of the third frame to take the lead for good.
Lexee Lemler produced three hits and drove in a pair to lead the offense for the winning Trojans.
Heather Stichter had two hits and two RBI for Triton. Lauren Hostrawser had three RBI and Hannah Jennings added two hits.
Courtney Jenning earned the pitching win for the Trojans.
The Triton junior varsity team erased a 5-0 deficit to beat Plymouth 10-6.
Triton, now 16-9, will play a conference game at Culver Monday night.
