A Canadian couple on a flight from Canada to Japan on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 10, got a big surprise mid-air: a new baby girl.

According to new dad Wes Branch, he and his girlfriend Ada didn’t even know they were pregnant. Ada began having pain during the flight and was moved to a business class seat.

A physician who just happened to be on board the plane delivered the baby. The little girl, Chloe, seems to be doing just fine despite her exciting entrance into the world.
