Margie I. Meroney, 86, Ligonier, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Avalon Village in Ligonier.

She was born March 29, 1929, in Allen County to William and Marguerite (DeLagrange) Lengacher Sr. Margie married Leland Meroney Sr.

Margie was lifelong area resident. She worked for Starcraft RV and the Charger House. Margie attended the Church of Christ in Ligonier.

She is survived by one daughter: Debbie (Greg) Biggs, Tulsa, Okla.; one sister: Annette (Dan) Royce; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers; and two sisters.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. A funeral will be held in Margie’s honor at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14 at Yeager Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Penwell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park, Ligonier.
