BOTETOURT, Va. – Hot off winning the 2015 NCCAA Mid-West Region Championship, the Grace College softball program has drawn the No. 5 seed at the NCCAA National Softball Championship next week in Botetourt, Virginia.
Coach Heather Johnson and the Lancers earned the overall No. 5 seed in the tournament and will open up on Wednesday, May 13, against the No. 4 seed Oklahoma Christian University at the prestigious Botetourt Sports Complex at 2:30 pm (EST).
The Lancers won the NCCAA Mid-West Regional 3-2 in extra innings over Cedarville University this past Tuesday in the winners bracket game. The Lady Lancers earned its second consecutive NCCAA national tournament berth.
