WARSAW – The Lakeview Middle School girls track teams collected wins Monday.

The 8th grade team totaled 103 points to defeat Whitko (26) and Lakeland Christian Academy (7).

Raegan Merchant won the 100 and 200 hurdles races and Caitlin Kehler posted wins in the 400 and 800 to lead Lakeview.

Other winners in 8th grade action were Lynae Dawson (discus), McKayla Clampitt (100), Michaela Buriff (high jump), Natalie McGuire (long jump) and Lex Desenberg (1,600).

Lakeview also won the 4 X 100 with the team of Clampitt, Merchant, Grace Johnson and Halle Shipp and the 4 X 400 race with the team of Desenberg, Kehler, Merchant and Angie Sanchez.

The Lakeview 7th grade team scored 64 points to beat Whitko (61) and LCA (4).

Emily Davis won both the shot put and discus events to lead the winners. Sophia Long won the 100 hurdles and Alexis Music placed first in the long jump for Lakeview.
