Larry BrownLarry Brown, 79, of Warsaw, passed away at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, Indiana University Health, Goshen.

On May 26, 1935, Larry was born to Harold and Doris (Wilson) Brown in Warsaw.

Larry served in the U.S. Navy from 1954-1958 and the reserves until 1967. He volunteered as a member of the Warsaw American Legion Post #49 color guard, and worked construction for Camden Construction for many years.

Larry enjoyed model cars, drafting and Nascar Racing.

Larry is survived by his son: Ty Wayne Brown, Florida; and a daughter: Carrie (Tom) Stump, Pierceton; two grandchildren: Melissa D. Persley and John M. Stump; one great grandson: Lance C. Hunt.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Harold Brown; and one sister: Judy (Scott) Flowers.

Services for Larry will be at a later date. Burial will be in Legion Circle at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Military honors will be provided by the Warsaw American Legion Post #49 and the Military Funeral Honor Guard.

The family is requesting that memorial contribution to be made to American Legion Post #49 301 N First St., Warsaw, IN 46580. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with the arrangements.
