The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory, which is in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., for Kosciusko and surrounding counties.

According to the NWS, strong winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected from the west with frequent gusts up to 45 mph expected late this morning and into the afternoon.

The NWS notes scattered tree and power line damage is possible and any unsecured objects may be blown around. Driving is expected to be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles and on north-south oriented roads.
