David Frank Wallace Jr., 57, of Argos, died at 12:54 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. He had been ill since Dec. 5, 2014.
David was born on May 23, 1957 in Youngstown, Ohio to David F. Wallace Sr. and Elizabeth (Morris) Wallace and had lived in Marshall County for 30 years.
He worked at Bourbon Plastic for 17 years, and also worked for Boardman Chevrolet, Bourbon, Indiana and Hehr International, Plymouth. David attended the Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis from 1963 to 1975.
He is survived by his sisters: Darlene Barcus, Argos; Cathy (Bill) Martz, Tippecanoe; Pamela (William F.) Bodine, Ober; and Sheri Becker, Warsaw; his brothers: John (Judy) Wallace, Tippecanoe; Jesse Wallace, Rochester; and Donald (Judith) Wallace, Rochester; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother: William Wallace.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until noon at Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, located at 208 N. Michigan St., Argos. Funeral services will follow at noon after visitation, with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of Walnut Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow at Walnut Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Argos.
