The Chain O’ Lakes State Park in Albion will host a Family Fishing Derby  June 9 from 7-11 a.m.  Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Sand Lake Boat Rental.  Fishing can be from shore or boat on Sand Lake only.  All Indiana DNR Fishing Rules and Regulations apply.  All fish must be weighed-in by 11 a.m.  All fish must be alive at weigh-in.  Prizes will be awarded at 11:30 a.m. in Pan fish and Sport fish categories as well as an overall “Catch of the Day.”  For more information about the Fishing Derby, please contact Naturalist Leslie Nocton at 260-636-2654 or [email protected].
