Easter bunny filled with methPolice in Tahlequah, OK, intercepted a package last week containing a stuffed bunny that was delivering a lot more than candy or eggs. The toy was concealing $30,000 worth of methamphetamine.

“We’ve intercepted narcotics before,” said Tahlequah Police Chief Nate King. “The Easter bunny, I thought, was a strange touch.”

According to police, two condoms filled with a combined total of approximately one pound of meth were inserted into a hole cut in the plush toy. Authorities received a tip about the package from officers in another city.

Carolyn Ross, the woman who was waiting on the package, is now behind bars. She confessed to the police, stating that she knew the drugs were going to be delivered and she was then supposed to distribute them to another person at a later time. She is being held on a $75,000 bond.
