UPDATE: Two persons were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 12:04 p.m. at US 6 and CR 37, north of Syracuse, today.
Larry Richards, 64, Syracuse, complained of neck pain and suffered an abrasion to the knees. Ronald T. Brimhall, 34, Cromwell, complained of pain to the chest and arm. Both were taken to IU Health Goshen Hospital.
Elkhart County Police report Richards was east on US 6 preparing to turn left onto CR 37 and collided with the westbound Brimhall vehicle. Richards was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
At approximately 12:20 p.m. Monday, April 6, emergency personnel were dispatched to US 6 and CR 37 in Syracuse for a two-vehicle automobile accident.
According to reporter Chelsea Los, the collision was a head-on crash. Two drivers were reportedly transported to IU Health Goshen Hospital with minor injuries. Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, Syracuse EMS and Benton Township Fire Department responded to the crash.
