UPDATE: Hector M. Ramirez, 20, East CR 350N, Warsaw, was not reported as being injured in a one-vehicle accident early Saturday on North CR 173E, south of East 8 Square Road, Warsaw. The accident was at 3:57 a.m.

According to police the Ramirez vehicle went off the road where the right front tire hit gravel. He attempted to steer the vehicle back onto the roadway but lost control of the vehicle and over correcting it. The vehicle slid across the oncoming traffic lane and went off the roadway. The vehicle then hit a ditch and flipped on its top resting against a utility pole.

Ramirez left the scene and was later found by police at his residence.

Damage was estimated up to $5,000.

At approximately 4 a.m. Saturday, April 4, emergency personnel were dispatched to CR 175E, just north of the intersection of 8 Square Road for an automobile accident.

According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputy at the scene, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled, coming to a rest on the east side of the roadway.

There were no serious injuries as a result of the accident. Please avoid the area until police have cleared the scene.
