BUNKER HILL – The Tippecanoe Valley softball team lost a 3-2 final at Maconaquah Tuesday evening.

Abby Betten went 3-4 at the plate to lead the way for the Vikings. She also scored a run and had a stolen base for Valley.

Katie Prater had two hits and an RBI for the Vikings. Kassidy Shepherd also drove in a run for the Vikings.

Katie Gunter took the pitching loss for Valley despite a fine effort. She walked none and struck out six in the contest.

Valley (0-2) plays at Triton April 13.
