Members of the Wawasee High School Key Club traveled to Indianapolis during the weekend for the Key Club State Leadership Convention. Wawasee fared well at the competition including finishing first in some of the categories.

Awards for WHS included:

• First place overall, single service award for the Stuff the Bus project
• First place overall, major emphasis award for the fashion show
• First place overall, video by Shae Henn and Zach Hunter
• First place nontraditional scrapbook, Ally Kuhn
• Top three talent award, Hunter Dolsen
• Distinguished president award, Katie Kuhn
• Distinguished vice-president award, Kamryn Foy

Wawasee competed against clubs from schools considerably larger, said Traci Henn, Key Club advisor.
