Saturday afternoon hundreds of brightly colored eggs littered the ground and playground equipment of Winona Lake’s park.

Children, ages 10 and under, filled the park to hunt for eggs. Special prize baskets were awarded as well as chocolate easter bunnies.

The annual egg hunt began at 1:30 p.m. and featured three separate age classes, 2 years old and under; 3 year-olds to five year-olds; and 6 year-olds to 10-year olds. Each class awarded three prize baskets.

The event was organized by the Winona Lake Parks and Recreation Department. For upcoming egg hunts in the area, see: Easter Egg Hunt Listing.
