Honeywell Announces Spring Break Bash Activities
The Honeywell Center and Eagles Theatre are springing into action with the annual Spring Break Bash! All of the excitement will take place Tuesday, April 7 through Thursday, April 9. Take advantage of the free event full of fun activities for all students to engage in over spring break. The Spring Break Bash is sponsored by First Farmers Bank & Trust.
The following is a schedule of the events:
Monday, April 6:
- Free Movie at the Eagles Theatre – “Paddington” (2014) PG – 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m.
Tuesday, April 7:
- Art Activity: Mexican Tin Folk Art at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
- Family skating – 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30–4 p.m.
- Free Movie at the Eagles Theatre: “How to Train Your Dragon 2” (2014) PG – 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m.
Wednesday, April 8:
- Art Activity: Paint and collage a canvas with your handprint at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
- Family skating – 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30–4 p.m.
- Free Movie at the Eagles Theatre: “Annie” (2014) PG – 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m.
Thursday, April 9:
- Art activity: Make and paint a Koi Windsock at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
- Family skating – 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30–4 p.m.
- Free Movie at the Eagles Theatre: “Penguins of Madagascar” (2014) PG – 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m.
For all of you ready to tie on those skates, make sure to plan on arriving early since our skating rink capacity is limited to 100 skaters per session. Art workshops will be led by artist and author Candie Cooper, and will begin promptly at the scheduled times. Due to the popularity of the art workshops, it is suggested that those wishing to participate arrive early.
