This Francis Coates Jones painting to be included in the auction is estimated at $45,000.

Oprah Winfrey plans to auction off furniture, paintings, designer clothes and other personal belongings from her Chicago residence next month.

Leslie Hindman Auctioneers announced March 24 that the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa. The school helps disadvantaged high school-aged girls learn to become future leaders.

The auction house will preview the exhibit starting April 16. The sale will be held April 25, with bidding allowed online and in person.

Winfrey announced plans to close Harpo Studios in Chicago earlier this month, where “The Oprah Winfrey Show” was created. She plans to transition production for her cable network to a California studio.
