Ryan D, Mack, 34, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at his home. He was born on May 16, 1980, in East Chicago.

He graduated in 1998 from Crown Point High School in Crown Point and moved to Syracuse in 1999. He was employed at Poly-Wood, Inc. in Syracuse for 2 years and Wawasee Bowl in Syracuse. He was formerly employed at Lance’s New Market Grocery in Syracuse.

He formerly attended St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Syracuse and St. Michaels Catholic Church in Schererville.

He is survived by his daughter: Madalyn Mack; son: Ryan Mack Jr.; mother and step Father: Mary and Craig Hilbrich; sister: Melissa (James) Ducheteau, Syracuse; brother: Christopher (Amanda) Mack, Elkhart; 5 Nieces; and his maternal Grandmother: Dorothy Ziga, Schererville.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Richard Ziga.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, at St. Martin’s de Porres Catholic Church, 6941 E. Waco Dr., Syracuse. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
