Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

1:58 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 1701 E. Center St., Warsaw. Driver: Sara B. Berkey, 88, Aster Court, Bourbon. Berkey was backing out of a parking space at Ace Hardware when she hit an unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

6:33 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, South CR 400W, south of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Driver: Lyndey L. Evans, 37, East High Street, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

5:49 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, West CR 700S, west of South CR 600W, Claypool. Driver: Emily J. Templin, 19, East CR 200N, Akron. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:57 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, East CR 1300N, east of Old SR 15, Milford. Driver: Dane M. Harper, 19, East Northshore Drive, Syracuse. Harper hit an icy patch on the road which caused him to slide into a tree. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

1:54 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 617 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw. An unknown vehicle collided with a parked car before fleeing the scene. Damage up to $5,000.

11:08 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 408 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. Drivers: Derek M. Bradford, 35, West Dixie Drive, Silver Lake, and Sandra L. Johnson, 47, South Rosewood Drive, Warsaw. Bradford was backing out of a parking space at Penguin Point when he struck Johnson’s car. Damage up to $5,000.
