Triton piled up the runs to the tune of a 19-6 win  over Michigan City Marquette in the Class 1-A South Central Sectional Tuesday.
The Trojans disposed of the Blazers in five innings for the tournament win.
Triton advances to play Westville Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. CT in a semifinal game. Westville defeated Culver 13-0 Monday in five innings. The other semifinal game on Thursday pits host South Central versus Argos.
The sectional finale at South Central (Union Mills) is slated for Friday at 4:30 p.m. CT.
Whitko saw its softball season end with a tough 2-1 loss to  Heritage Tuesday in eight innings at the Class 3-A Norwell Sectional.
