Kosciusko County Educational Development student, Logan Dickerson, poses for a picture outside of her KC-Ed class. Logan is a Junior who is learning how to stay focused in class to be able to finish her tasks.

Her coach, Mike Casey, says “A strength that Logan possesses is when she puts her mind to something, she follows through with it.” Logan has not only raised her grades and is on track to graduate, but she has gone above and beyond what is expected of a high school student.

Dickerson worked so hard that she is now interning with North Webster Elementary School and has made great connections with her students and the teacher she observes. Casey says “I look forward to her continuing to excel and finish strong.”

KC-Ed’s mission is to promote high school graduation, one relationship at a time. Their K-12 programs serve four area school corporations: Tippecanoe Valley, Warsaw, Wawasee, and Whitko.

KC-Ed is in its fifth year of operation and has served nearly 400 students during that time. KC-Ed is a 501 C 3 public charity and is entirely funded by grants and individual or corporate donations. For more information about KC-Ed, visit www.TheKCED.com.
