David Lee ‘Dave’ Goddard, 49, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly at 11:07 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015, in Hilbert, Wis.

He was born on Nov. 24, 1965, in Mishawaka, to James A. ‘Jim’ and Margaret J. ‘Maggie’ Goddard.

He was a lifetime are resident and attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He was employed at Safe – Haul, Inc. in Middlebury, and formerly with Hoosier Transit Inc. in Nappanee for 6 years.

He is survived by his daughter: Jill Goddard, Leesburg; son: Jeff (Megan) Goddard, Milford; three grandchildren: Bradlee, Chasee and Annlynn; father: Jim Goddard; companion: Jody Baker, Pierceton.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
