Program and events for March:

Cookbook Club meets from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, to discuss microwave meals. Bring your recipes.

From 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Monday, March 2 and from 10 a.m. until noon Monday, March 9, Ivy Tech will be on site at the library for express enrollment.

Computer clinic will run from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and then 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 4. Bring your computer questions and problems.

Drop in Zone runs from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, for teens. Drop in to play video games or watch a movie. For ages 13-18 only.

Off the Shelf reading group meets from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday, March 5, to discuss “Trick of the Light” by Louise Penny.

Chess club meets at 10 a.m. every Saturday in March.

From 6 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. Monday, March 9, Knit and Purl Club meets for both beginners and expert knitters. Bring your projects as help is available.

Writers club meets from 6:30 until 7:45 Monday, March 9. Cindy Nash is the special guest speaker.

Meeting room C is where the Genealogy Club meets from 11 a.m. until noon Tuesday, March 10.

New Release Tuesday is showing a movie from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 and Tuesday, March 17. Call the library to see what movie is showing.

Make It Take It crafts are making twine Easter eggs from 3 p.m .until 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 11. A cost of $1 each is due at time of the class. Registration is needed.

From 9:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Friday, March 13, Lake City Piecemakers Quilt Club meets. Bring a small “sandwich” with the binding finished. Learn how to make a hex flower.

Walgreens pharmacy presents “Dementia and Alzheimers” from noon until 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. Registration is required.

Hooked on Crochet meets from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. Bring your projects. Help is available.

Savy Social Security Planning for Baby Boomers meets from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. Registration is required.

Gluten Free support group meets from 12:15 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 18.

Home Daycare information is an informational meeting for childcare providers and those who are interested in starting a daycare. Register for this meeting which runs from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 21.

From 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, a consumer protection presentation from the Indiana attorney general’s office presents “Scams and Identity Theft.”

There will be a card making class from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, with Stampin Up consultant Faith Ketterer. Cost is $8 at time for the class. Registration is required.

Three time Iditarod participant Karen Land will discuss sled dog racing across Alaska from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28.
