The Warsaw Community High School Winter Percussion Ensemble placed first in their class at the recent Carroll High School Percussion Invitational that was held on Saturday, Feb. 21. Warsaw won the Concert Open class with a performance of their show “Dance on a Volcano”, based on music by the rock band Genesis.

The percussion ensemble will next perform during the Warsaw Winter Percussion Invitational held in the Tiger Den on Saturday, March 7.

The invitational begins at 2 p.m. and WCHS performs at 6:15 p.m. Admission is $6. Contact the WCHS music office at (574) 317-5037 for more information.
