Area schools have announced ticket sales plans for the upcoming girls basketball semi state and boys basketball sectional action.

Tippecanoe Valley High School will sell semi state tickets for its girls basketball team’s semi state appearance starting Tuesday. The tickets, priced at $8 each, will be sold from 7:30-3 each day. Tickets will be available until noon on Friday or until the school’s allotment is gone. The school anticipates receiving 700 tickets.

The Vikings, who won the program’s first-ever regional championship with two overtime wins at Bellmont on Saturday, will face Rochester on Saturday at approximately 6 p.m. in the Class 3-A semi state game at Warsaw. The winner of that game advances to the state championship game on March 7 in Indianapolis.

TVHS will also sell boys basketball sectional tickets from Feb. 26 until March 2 in the athletic office during school hours each day. Those session tickets at $10 each and will also be sold at Valley’s home boys basketball game versus Wawasee on Feb. 27. Valley will play either Wawasee or Whitko in a semifinal game of the Class 3-A West Noble Sectional on March 6 at 6 p.m. in Ligonier.

Warsaw will begin pre-sale of boys basketball sectional tickets on Feb. 26 to season ticket holders from 7:30-3 in the athletic office. The tickets are $10 for the entire sectional tournament. All other persons can purchase tickets from 7:30-3 on March 2 or from 7:30-noon on March 3 at WCHS. Warsaw will play Concord in the opening game of the Class 4-A Elkhart Central Sectional at North Side Gym on March 3 at 6 p.m.

Triton High School will sell boys basketball sectional tickets starting on Tuesday. Tickets will be sold, priced at $10 each, to parents of players and cheerleaders and junior and senior high school students (one ticket per student) from 7:45-4 on Tuesday. Tickets will then be sold on Wednesday, also from 7:45-4, to Season Pass and Gold Card holders. They can purchase one ticket per pass and must have their passes to purchase tickets. Tickets will then be sold to anyone else on Thursday, Friday, March 2 and 3. Triton will play LaCrosse on March 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the opening game of the Class 1-A Triton Sectional.
