Franklin R. Gay, 96, of Centreville, Mich., died Saturday morning, Feb. 21, 2015, at his home.

He was born March 17, 1918, in Cromwell, to Arthur and Bessie Gay.

On Sept. 9, 1939, he married Vera June Landgraff. She preceded him in death Aug. 3, 1963.

Frank worked for Bendix Industries in South Bend for 30 years in the aircraft division. He was also a farmer and enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include a son, David (Denise) Gay, of Middlebury; a daughter, Jean Bradley, of Constantine, Mich.; six grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene (Myrtle) Gay and Larry Gay, both of Elkhart; and two sisters, Betty (Bob) Kurtz and Sharon Fulcher, both of Matthis, Texas.

According to his wishes cremation will take place.

A family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, was entrusted with arrangements.
