Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following accidents:

9:43 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, North CR 300E, north of East CR 700N, Leesburg. Driver: Tiffany R. Hollopeter, 18, West Hoppus Road, Warsaw. Hollopeter hit a patch of ice on the road, causing her to lose control and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.

1:41 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, North CR 200E, north of East CR 750N, Leesburg. Driver: Jason M. Glenn, 38, Amber Ridge Drive, Fort Wayne. Glenn lost control of his vehicle and drove off the road and through a fence. Damage up to $2,500.

5:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, East Patterson Road, west of Normandy Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Clay A. Layne, 45, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Layne backed into a parked car while attempting to back out of his driveway. Damage up to $10,000.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department responded to the following accident:

11:40 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, Alley just south of George Street, North Webster. Drivers: Nathaniel I. Enyeart, 30, East George Street, North Webster, and Keith A. Gunkel, 38, North 3rd Trail, North Webster. Enyeart was backing out of his drive way and was unable to stop due to the ice, causing him to back out in front of Gunkel. Damage up to $5,000.
