Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accidents:

12:49 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, East Armstrong Road and North CR 75E, Leesburg. Drivers: Kyle P. Hunsberger, 32, North Creek Bend Lane, Milford, and an unknown driver. Hunsberger was turning left onto Armstrong Road and due to blizzard conditions had his windows down trying to hear traffic. As he entered traffic he was struck by a small vehicle which did not stop. Damage up to $1,000.

12:23 p.m. Saturday, Feb 14, East First Street, west of South Main Street, Milford. Driver: Margarita A. Criswell, 32, West First Street, Milford. Criswell’s vehicle slid into a parked vehicle registered to Angela S. Clouse, West Section Street, Milford. Damage under $750.

Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

10:49 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, West Old Road 30, west of West CR 100N, Warsaw. Driver: Benjamin T. Hinora, 21, North SR 5, Larwill. Hinora stated the accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when he lost control of this vehicle going off the road and hitting a building at Creighton Brothers. Damage up to $25,000.

6:44 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, South SR 15, north of South Old SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Kevin L. Williamson, 36, South Ferguson Road, Warsaw. Williamson was northbound on SR 15 when his vehicle went over a patch of ice. His vehicle slid across the southbound lane of SR 15, hitting a tree. The four occupants refused medical treatment. Damage up to $25,000.

4:41 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, East CR 200N, east of North CR 100E, Warsaw. Drivers: Anthony Demski, 23, North Brook Boulevard, Warsaw, and Blake L. Brubaker, 43, Greystone Drive, Warsaw. Brubaker stated he was attempting to pass a vehicle partially stuck on his side of the road when his vehicle became stuck in the ditch. His vehicle was then struck by Demski’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

4:22 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, South Country Club Road and East Pink Magnolia Drive, Warsaw. Driver: McKenzie J. Williams, 16, South McClellan Street, Warsaw. Williams lost control of her vehicle due to a snow white out, went off the road and hit a sign and a fence. Damage up to $2,500.

1:59 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, North SR 15 and West CR 900N, Milford. Drivers: Kyle R. Tiede, 27, Holly Street, Monon, and Dennis R. Hartzell, 66, North SR 19, Nappanee. During a blizzard with near zero visibility, Tiede struck the back of the Hartzell vehicle, which had slowed for another vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

1:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, South SR 13 and East CR 850S, Sidney. Driver: Benjamin A. Johnson, 19, East Lakeview Trail, Leesburg. Due to white out conditions, Johnson’s vehicle went off the road and hit a small tree. Damage up to $1,000.

10:59 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, South SR 15 and West CR 600S, Claypool. Drivers: Charity R. Trump, 41, South CR 300E, Claypool, and Ashlie J. Manns, 25, West CR 700S, Claypool. Due to weather conditions, Trump could not see oncoming traffic and drove into the path of Manns’ vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

6:48 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, North SR 15, north of West CR 900N, Warsaw. Driver: Ashton J. Smith, 18, West Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Smith’s vehicle started to go off the side of the road, he over-corrected the vehicle causing it to go off the opposite side of the road and roll. Damage up to $5,000.

7:59 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, North SR 15, north of West Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Driver: Mark R. Curry, 51, North Kern Road, Syracuse. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

6:11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, EMS B61B Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Trayklyn M. Castro, 18, North Harrison Street, Warsaw. Castro’s vehicle went off the road, hit a fence and then a garage. The fence and garage is owned by Erika Goodyear, EMS B61B Lane, Warsaw. Damage up to $10,000.

1:09 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, Chapman Lake Drive, north of East CR 250N, Warsaw. Driver: Harvey J. Miller, 76, EMS C17 Lane, Warsaw. Miller complained of pain to the head and transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Miller’s vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. Damage up to $2,500.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

10:50 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, North Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Shane L. Senter, 39, EMS T25 Lane, Leesburg. Senter backed from a parking space and struck a parked vehicle registered to Robert Delafuente, North Creek Bend Lane, Milford. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:19 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Briette A. Lapland, 29, Robin Drive, Warsaw, and Hannah S. Kuhn, 24, West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Lapland parked off to the side of Kuhn’s vehicle but not in a parking space. Kuhn backed into the driver’s side of Lapland’s vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.

3:26 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, Jalynn Street and Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: Pamela J. Reichert, 33, East Sunset Drive, Bourbon, and Jason T. Lenon, 29, East Main Street, Warsaw. Reichert’s vehicle slid through the intersection hitting the Lenon vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

12:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, Walton Boulevard and Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Eric S. Aites, 28, East CR 300N, Warsaw, and Roger D. Rowland, 64, South CR 200W, Claypool. Aites vehicle struck the back of the Rowland vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

11:53 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, Lakecity Highway and Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Faryl L. Smith, 38, Heritage Court, Valparaiso, and Casey A. Renschler, 25, South State Street, South Whitley. Smith’s vehicle slid into the back of the Renschler vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

11:54 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, CR 100E and CR 250N, Warsaw. Drivers: Berl D. Greene, 56, East 550N, Leesburg. Greene’s vehicle was struck by an unknown driver as that driver pulled out from CR 250N and turned right onto CR 100E. The unidentified driver crossed the center line collided with Greene’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

1:11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, East CR 250N west of Boeing Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Annie L. Burchett, 63, East CR 200N, Warsaw; Meghan E. Wiseman, 20, South Country Club Road, Warsaw; and Steven A. Secrist, 62, North Nancy Drive, Warsaw. Injured: Burchett complained of pain to the chest. Donita F. Secrist, 62, North Nancy Drive, Warsaw, a passenger in the Steven A. Secrist vehicle, complained of pain to the shoulder/upper arm. Burchett was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital by family members. Secrist was transported to KCH by paramedics. Burchett was unable to see traffic stopped in front of her due to white out conditions, hitting the back of the Wiseman vehicle. Wiseman’s vehicle was pushed into the back of the Secrist vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

1:17 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, East CR 250N west of North Boeing Road, Warsaw. Driver: Scott A. Haupert, 40, North SR 25, Roann. Haupert attempted to avoid hitting vehicles in front of him, entering the eastbound lane hitting a parked firefighter’s vehicle, which was pushed into two other stopped firefighter vehicles. The firefighters were responding to a personal injury accident. One firefighter reported bumping his head. All three parked firefighter vehicles had emergency lights activated. Damage up to $25,000.
