Andrew E. BeckAndrew Beck, 41, of Rochester, (Talma) and formerly of North Manchester, passed away unexpectedly passed at 10:25 a.m., Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at his residence

He was born on April 30, 1973, Independence, Mo., to Roger E. Guthrie and Annette Kester. His companion was Tonia Smith of Rochester, (Talma) she survives. She had been his companion for 10 years.

He had been a veal calf feeder for Strauss Veal of North Manchester. He attended high school in North Manchester. He loved watching the Cleveland Browns in the NFL and Mark Martin was his families driver in NASCAR. He enjoyed fishing on Sechrist Lake and his children were the love of his life.

He is survived by his mother: Annette (Dennis) Ayres, North Manchester; son: Wade Beck, South Whitley; Noah Beck, North Manchester; daughters: Shanna Lynn Leonhardt, Indianapolis; Gracie Beck, Rochester; maternal grandmother: Grace Kester, North Manchester; paternal grandmother: Cleo Hippensteel, North Manchester; stepsons: Deontee Smith, Steven Poe and Braydyn Poe, Rochester; sisters: Abbie Isbell, North Manchester; Lisa and husband Joseph Rioux, Sylvania, Ohio; step-brothers: Ryan Ayres, Dover, Ark.; Andy Ayres, North Manchester; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son: Chance Beck who passed Feb. 6, 2015; grandparents; father: Roger Guthrie.

Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Feb. 17, at the First Brethren Church of North Manchester. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, First Brethren Church 407 North Sycamore St., North Manchester, and will be officiated. Services will be officiated by Rev. Kurt Stout and Rev. Susan Keirn-Kester.

Memorial contributions may be made to Andrew Beck Memorial Fund Payable at the Bippus State Bank or Hartzler Funeral Home.
