UPDATE: Accident At CRs 250N and 100E, Warsaw
UPDATE: Multiple accidents occurred at this area on the afternoon of Saturday, Feb. 14.
At 12:55 p.m. Warsaw Police Department responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of CR 100E and CR 250N. Yosajandi L. Trejo, 29, CR 200N, Warsaw, was eastbound on CR 250N at the intersection. She stated that she could not see due to blowing snow, waited several seconds and proceeded through the intersection, southbound on CR 100E.
After pulling through the intersection, she collided with Michael A. Facundo, 24, EMS B18 Lane, Pierceton. The driver’s side front corner of Facundo’s vehicle hit the rear of Trejo’s vehicle. No serious injuries were reported, and damages were estimated up to $5,000.
At approximately the same time, Carissa A. McCullough, 35, Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse, was northbound on CR 100E. She stated that she had her emergency flashers on and was driving less than 30 mph.
Suddenly, a dark-colored car appeared in front of her. She attempted to stop, but slid into the rear of a vehicle driven by Joshua D. Lozano, 27, Chestnut Ave., Winona Lake. The impact of the collision pushed Lozano’s vehicle into the vehicle in front of him, driven by Justin G. Ousley, 24, CR 375E, Warsaw.
McCullough, two juvenile passenger in her vehicle and Lozano were treated by EMS for injuries. Damages are estimated up to $25,000.
