Kiwanis Club of Warsaw recognized and congratulated member Willis Alt for the contributions he made to The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis’ current global campaign for children. The Eliminate Project is a joint effort with UNICEF to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus worldwide. According t o Kiwanis.org website, neonatal tetanus steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year.
The Walter Zeller Fellowship is one of the highest levels of recognition provided to those Kiwanis members making sizable contributions to this life saving project. Kiwanis Club of Warsaw is a membership organization that meets at 11:45 a.m. every Thursday in the Shrine Building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds. Guests are always welcome! Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to im proving the world, one child and one community at a time.
