Brown Leads Warsaw Gymnasts
WARSAW – The Warsaw gymnastics team lost to Plymouth Wednesday night.
The Pilgrims topped the host Tigers 87.22-74.02.
Jazzmine Brown led the Tigers with a second-place finish in the all-around competition with a score of 30.57.
Brown placed second in the bars routine with a score of 7.5 and third in both the beam (6.6) and floor (8.4) events and fifth in the vault (8.0).
Katie Richard was fourth all-around for the Tigers with a score of 26.65. She was third in the bars (6.0), four in the vault (8.1), fifth in the floor (7.2) and sixth in the beam (5.2).
Nadiya Burritt placed fifth in the bars (3.7) and sixth in the vault (7.6) for Warsaw. Libby Jenkins was fifth in the beam (5.4).
Warsaw will compete in the LaPorte Invitational on Saturday.
