Linda F. Jones, 65, of Elkhart, died at 2:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at Hospice House in Elkhart where she had been a resident for 1 week. 

She had been in ill health for a month. Linda was born June 30, 1949, in St. Louis, Mo., to Frank and Ollie (Bowers) Duncan. She attended Nappanee High School. On July 1, 1995, she married John Jones. Linda was a housewife. She was a very likable person and  enjoyed visiting with people.

Surviving with her husband John are sons: Tony Bope, Dunlap; Tim Bope, Goshen; and a sister: Ann Severs, St. Louis, Mo. 

She was preceded in death by a son: Terry Bope; sisters: Laverne Linville and Evelyn Grow; and brothers: Melvin, Norman and William Duncan.

Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral Services will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
