Ambertter from MHS is partnering with the Northern Indiana Hispanic Health Coalition for several healthcare enrollment and education events. These events will focus on educating attendees about the Affordable Care Act and enrolling individuals in the MHS line of products branded as Ambetter from MHS. These events are open to the public.

There will be three different presentations: one from Ambetter from MHS; another from a diabetic educator on how to manage and prevent diabetes; and a third with a chef on how to prepare a healthy family meal, including samples.

There will also be a number of free screenings offered, including screenings for cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, and oxygen saturation, among others. No appointments are necessary, and NIHHC volunteers will be on hand to explain the results.

This event will take place from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9 at the St. John Catholic School Gym, located at 117 W. Monroe St., Goshen.
