DENVER – The Lakeland Christian Academy girls basketball team wrapped up regular-season play with a 55-45 loss Thursday night at North Miami.

Rachel Sand led the way for the Cougars with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Hannah Delp had 16 points and nine assists for LCA. Maryl Gerst scored seven points and Joselyn Helton had two.

LCA drops to 7-16, while North Miami improves to 4-18.

LCA will play Bethany Christian Tuesday night at 6 p.m. in the Class 1-A Lakewood Park Christian Sectional.
