A benefit will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Amvets Post 33, 6620 Koester Drive, Fort Wayne, off Lower Huntington Road at Bluffton Road, Waynedale. The benefit is for Bud Weiser, formerly of Syracuse, who died in November.

There will be a soup bar, soft drinks, water, bake sale and silent auction.

Memorial T-shirts are also being sold. All proceeds will be used to pay off his funeral expenses so his mother can bring him home.
