WARSAW – It was championship time for both the boys and girls bowling club teams from Warsaw Community High School at sectional competition.

Both teams earned titles in the Wabacanoe Sectional held at The Bowling Alley on Jan. 24-25.

The WCHS boys team, which is coached by Glen Ransbottom and Kirk Wyman, also won the 2015 Wabacanoe Conference championship.

The boys team and the girls team, which is coached by Andy Kiser and Rob McDonald, advance on to the regional on Feb. 7 in Lafayette.

The pair of teams also had three individuals qualify to compete in the regionals in Jim Pifer, Jacob Sudlow and Taylor Fouts.

The boys team is comprised of Chris Stichter, Caden Roberts, Logan Vetor, John McGurn, Jacob Sudlow, Jim Pifer, Justin Stout and Trevor Stichter.

The girls team is made up of Breanna Kiser, Ashley Blackburn, Katie German, Shunterra Davis, Christina Belisles, Tier Morrow, Taylor Fouts, Abby Blackburn and Madison Method.

Competing in the sectional were teams from Tippecanoe Valley, Whitko, Rochester, Peru and Logansport, along with Warsaw.
