Robert E. “Bob” Clark, 76, Warsaw, passed away at 6:35 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center, Warsaw.
On Aug. 27, 1938, he was born in Warsaw to Lowell and Gladys (Cook) Clark. He was united in marriage to M. Joan Zentz on January 2, 1965 in Etna Green, Ind., who survives.
A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Bob graduated from Warsaw High School, Class of 1956. He worked for Uniroyal/Spartech, Warsaw, Mishawaka and Redlands, Calif., for 40 years, retiring in 2004.
Bob was a member of Etna Green United Methodist Church and also a member of Moose Lodge, Rozella Ford Golf Course, the bowling leagues and golf leagues. He played softball for many years. He was a member of Warsaw Bowling Hall of Fame. He had several 300 games and 800 series in bowling. He also had a hole-in-one at Rozella Ford Golf Course.
Bob was always there to help anyone. He helped by clearing driveways of snow, rolling someone’s lawn or mowing lawn and whatever else they needed.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years: M. Joan Clark, Warsaw; his son: Chad Clark, Orlando, Fla.; two uncles: Aldon (and spouse Thelma) Clark, Leesburg, Robert Clark, Lansing, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters: Arlene (Clark) Steinmetz and Joy (Clark) Lockerd.
Visitation hours will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27 at the funeral chapel, Warsaw with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
