Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:22 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, Argonne Road, north of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: William Stacy, 60, Sixth Street, Whittemore, Iowa. Stacy thought that he could make it under a bridge but his trailer was too large. He did not see the 13-foot clearance sign at the south side of the bridge. The truck was carrying Soda Ash to be delivered to Warsaw Chemical. Damage up to $50,000.
