Jack L. Britt, 61, of Warsaw, passed away at 2:53 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born on Feb. 28, 1953, in Tazewell County, Va., to William Beverly Britt, Jr. and Maudie Magdaline (Murray) Britt. He served in the US Army. He moved from Goshen to Warsaw and resided in the area for 20 years. He was an avid reader.

He is survived by two daughters: Tamara (Vincent) Hoffman, White Pigeon, Mich.; Angela (Chris Adams) Lace, Syracuse; one son: James Britt, Warsaw; 11 grandchildren; one great -grandchild; three brothers: Robert Britt, Missouri; Billy Britt, Missouri; Nathan Britt, Goshen; sister: Linda Hodges, Florida

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather: Nathan Hodges; sister: Geraldine Osborne; and granddaughter: Madison Rain.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Titus Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
